Guys, Just in case I decided my testicles need another wallop would this be a decent buy? Im thinking if its the pump thats gone I could add it to my engine and make 2 systems.
This was on ebay a couple of months ago and didnt sell. Maybe for a reason?

The pump is probably one of the best there is. I saw that machine when it was on Ebay and dismissed it because it is petrol and only 2500psi.
My petrol drain jetter uses about ten litres of petrol every couple of hours, 18hp Kohler engine @30LPM.
My Hot & Mighty did about 8 quids worth of red in one night.
Don't go petrol you will regret it!!
I am looking at the 14GPM units at the moment, slightly more expensive but I do like the idea of converting a jetter to a two man pressure washer.

If you search drain jetter on ebay there is one on there - at the top that wants a bit of work, currently sitting at £360.00

Buy my yanmar bowser pal. ;)

It's the bowser.
When we get chance to meet up and you see this H & M set up you will know straight away why I need something a bit special to go alongside it!!!

Buy my yanmar bowser pal. ;)
Had all my gear in a 10X8 Ifor Williams but struggled with hitching it up (slipped disc) So its been sitting in my garage for a year. Sold it yesterday would you believe.
Downham market is about 20 miles from me and the spare pump caught my eye. Assuming my pump has gone and not the engine.
Any advice on finding out what has exploded? The cord is siezed and I vaguely remember someone saying that means the pump has gone.

It'll look tidy when there's signage on

How much you wanting for the bowser lee?
-
Lee
Sorry - that looks tidy.
I put the post up and was just about to put another one up saying I was joking when my wife came in from shopping at the Trafford Centre, so forgot all about the post.
Is that Petrol??

Lee, I'd baffle the ibc if you ever tow with water in

I'll let it go for £1400 without tidying up as I'm pushed for time. Needs a new jockey as the rubber has just broken off the wheel, they're about £30. Handbrake doesn't work, never bothered having brakes sorted and just needs a new push start button (£5) as the current one isn't working so we spark the wires together to start.
Mint engine only a couple of years old and the shaft is mint as we mounted this engine a couple of months ago after shaft sheered on previous yanmar. ws202 pump is 18 months old in mint working order.

Not planning on towing with water mate, only short trips from closest FH.

We're working in Winchmore Hill and have had to hire a hydrant riser (tap) because we are filling up on a main road, really bad water supply on the store and loads of Thames vans running around.
Must have lifted ten hydrant covers to be met with blocked, stuck & hydrants that just don't work. I thought it was the fire services job to go around and make sure they were all ok, every three months.

It would be far cheaper to just buy an engine off ebay 200 - 300 for a genuine honda as someone bdcs pointed out previously, that jetter will drink petrol like its going out of fashion... don't buy the jetter, keep the honda and use it for spares.. buy another off ebay and save a fortune... also have you thought aboput taking it back to the repair place and kicking off? if they have fixed it then it should be under warranty on the parts they fitted?

Appreciate your advice kenny, Ive got a little previous and I am not very good at middle ground so have to be careful. Far as I am concerned they are responsible. Took It back today and they shrugged their shoulders so had to walk away.
Based the £400 repair cost, on a clean engine and fuel to pick up and faffing about. I need a decent inlet hose reel and hp hose and the spare pump caught my eye.
Could make £500 selling the honda/ fsc/ lance and retractable hose reel. So would cost me £400 Either way. Only do a couple of drive throughs a month and to be honest dont see me doing much more.
With that in mind would you still steer clear of the rioned.

Yes mate, in my opinion, especially if you only do a couple of jobs per month... is it really worth having such a big lump if you only do so little work (domestics i take it) if you were going to spend £900 on a machine you may aswell just get a full second hand machine for about £500 - £600 petrol or diesel, you could maybe even pick a recon washer up with a 3 month warranty for around £700 and they may take your mahine in part ex, in my opinion I would definately not fork out another £900 on a huge machine that will be a right ball ache to move about and transport... although it's your choice mate ring this guy ask for paul on 01204 365 465, he always has recon machines in aaround the £700 mark and will probable take your machine in PX, also gives a return to base warranty of about 3 months
Good luck with whatever you do mate, I feel for you with the your honda blowing up... :-\ alls you want to do is earn a living

Gonna take your advice mate.
Would look good in the transit though. Gonna get an engine and switch it over.
Cheers

Been busy over the last couple of days and only just looked in
My H & M uses about £10.00 of red diesel per day - for a two man operation, generally about ten hours of run time. Go diesel every time!!!!!!
