Title: Advice with Gardiners Sill brush please..
Post by: Afterglow Window Cleaners on June 07, 2012, 06:16:24 pm
Hey all,

I just got a Gardiners Sill brush delivered today. It came packed in a jiffy bag so a lot of the bristles bend to one side like a banana. When I apply pressure to the brush head (on my table at home) all the bristles splay to the one side that they are bent.

Is this normal? or has the transit damage knackered the brush, I imagine there should be an even splay when pressure is applied? Will it even out with use?

Wanted to use the brush on a job tomorrow, but dont want to use it if it in case I have to send it back.

Cheers,

Gaz

Got a feeling there is something on Gardiners website about putting the bristles in hot water to straighten them out.
