Title: FLag stone brick work!!

Can any one help been to clean some flag stone steps today but had trouble removing the stains with just hot water tryed up to 80 degres still didint make any diffrence is there any chemical i could use to help, thanks in advance!!!

hi there,

you may want to look at brick acid,  however be careful, as it could damage the flagstones, so use with caution.

I have been recommended  hypochlorite, its what farmers use in their milking parlours though Ive never used it and its no too expensive.
Can get it from farm supply shops.

Sodium hyperclorite will do the trick as Gary mentions, available from agricultural merchants eg countrywide, mole valley etc £8.00 for 25l

these are available from most Tile Merchants
