Just picked up one of these from Lidl..£20. Bit of a palaver to put together but seems quite sturdy.

Only problem I get is with the male (plastic) connection to my metal (female) microbore connection! Dont think plastic and metal mix well!

Just saw this on Gardiners...http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/info_HOSE_FIT_BRS_HZLK_6.html think this would work connecting to the male on inside of the reel?

Cheap enough and comes with decent warranty

I would imagine there will be some good stock clearance pricing on hose and hose reels due to the hose pipe bans.

Good point. Saying that, its done nowt but bloody rain since hosepipe ban introduced!!!  ;D

Nice here today though.  8)
