Title: Small platforms ... do you need a IPAF license ?

as per title ......... even for small internal machines is a license required ?

You don't need one but it's advised just think if there's a problem your arse will be sued as you didn't have the proper training also it's only £170 for iPaf

With no licence you have no way of proving competence and therefore will feel the full weight of the law should something go wrong.

You will be the ultimate billy no mates!

Google mewp legislation, you'll find loads of info.

Do the training, these are great courses and well worth doing even if used only occasionally.
