Just wondering if anyone else has been feeling ill this weekend I've felt awful bad throat and chest, bunged up and had the runs not been nice with this hot weather just wondering if its a viral bug going round or just me run down

It could be just a bug.
It probably isn't the following but just in case, have you checked the possible side effects of the medicine you recently started taking?

Its windows based anxiety that is bought on by window cleaning and its associated problems.

I suffer from it too.

Had flu like symptoms for 2 weeks now, lots of my mates have gone down with it also, I was out in all weathers throughout April so not sure if that caused it

Keep the chair strapped to your backside - that should prevent any seepage.  ;)

what a bizzare idea to go on a website where people are all over the country and ask them if 'something is going round'?  Theres millions of bugs all over the place!

is it sunstroke?

one year i went for my summer haircut ... "no guard on clippers short as you like mr barber sir it only grows back like a bush anyway thankyou" ...

went out cleaning in the sun no hat so the white head would colour to match much weathered brown face

was sick as a dog when i got home dizzy and felt like i had man flu had to lay down for several days after and then milked it a bit more cos i'm a brave likkle soldier

self inflicted sunstroke ... there's no advice on this sort of thing ... used to have commercials with tufty the squirrel now just have pamphlets at the GPs which is too late really

anyway i think that's why they all have hair in hot countries and they shun crew cuts

anyway

is it sunstroke?

If its any consolation Richy, I feel awful too
Had a cough now for about 4wks, my eyes are always running, my throat and mouth is sore and in general just feel under the weather mate

I'm sure it's just hay fever (or something just as simple) although I've never suffered with it before and this is my 3rd summer working outdoors ???

Keep us posted, and chin up fella  :)

Last week my Mrs and both kids were really ill with the same sort of thing. My lad was in hospital one night with a temp of almost 41.

All OK now but took a week or so overall to clear.

Dr said viral, sure they could save a fortune by putting one of those coin activated taliking heads in there! Just like The Amazing Zoltar from BIG  ;D
