Title: Static 40/40
Post by: Mike55 on May 27, 2012, 02:21:37 pm
Hi Guys,

I am looking to buy a new 40/40 RO system.  The PSI from my tap is around 35-40.

Am I right in saying that you can buy low pressure membranes and therefore a booster pump is not required?

Does anyone know any companies that can supply the complete setup (pre filters, membrane, DI, tank etc).

This will be a static system at home.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers
Mike

There is a 4040 on their website complete - add extra for HF5 membrane for low water pressure.

You can also stipulate solenoid switch and micro switch for static tank. Buy S/H IBC tank off ebay and add submersible pump and hose to transfer to van tank. Phone them and ask for a quote. Before phoning find out TDS of tap water and tell them about your low water pressure. They may suggest HF4 membrane but with booster pump.

Processed water to IBC will be 000 tds as their 4040 is supplied with resin vessel (I presume resin is included).

Yeah - pure freedom used used to advertise a complete package on EBay - 1000ltr ibc, 4040, filters and resin etc.. All as a complete set up supplied on a pallet for about £1000
