Used a spare mobile number and a spare email account in case load of numpties.

Good luck
are you doing it under the goverment scheme of funding if you take a long term dosser unemployed person?
-
I put one in a few months ago and got a bunch of clowns getting in touch,
One of them put on his CV that he was a hypnotist too. He couldve proved very useful if utilised correctly.
Good luck though,
There are some genuine people out there.

I did mine over the phone.
I also restricted my number and address from the ad as ive had loads of idiots thinking they can bother me all hours of the day.
I just left it as apply via email but out of 100 replies i interviewed 3 people then employed outside of the job centre.
Your results will depend on the quality of your applicants
Good luck

We decided to try the job centre for the first time in 25 years recently.
After being left in the lurch we had to do something quick, so tried it out of desparation really, never wanted to go that route before.
I have to say I was amazed! It may only be my experience but we got 46 inquiries in less than a week! I had to pull the vacancy.
I gave about 10 of them a phone interview, narrowed it down to 4, and would have employed them all but could only pick one. Spoilt for choice!
Only a part time job, but has worked out brilliant. We will be doing it that way again.

I used gumtree the other week and was surprised by he amount of inquiries I had
-
Nice people at job centre have asked me to call in for 30 minutes later today to go through some schemes that may help me financially !!
or maybe there gonna tell me I have to sign off ?? ;)
-
be intrested to hear the result(s

Best lad i ever had came from a job center advert.
-
UPDATE.
Had 11 applications by email and interviewed 6 of em on Thursday.
In fairness would have given them all a try but can only be one.
Came down to 2, a lad of 17 who left school then put himself thru a 1 year College course as "didnt want to stay in bed all day" and then the lad who got the job .. Joe 25, worked at maccy D's for 7 years, left to go work for a leaflet distrubution company as an area supervisor that folded (pun intended :D) 3 months after he joined ... giving him a day out next week and starting proper few days later.
Looked into various schemes set up by Welsh Government but none suited however if I was a large company into taking advantage of the unemployed and government handouts then would have a very very cheap wages bill.
Hopefully have him trained in basics by week 2 and up to a decent speed by end of July and who knows his experiance in the dropping of leaflets may come in handy.
Also think have found job for 17 year old lad with another window cleaning company owned by a mate who just had one of his lads hand notice in. :D
