Title: Pricing up a big clean
Post by: benny donnelly on May 24, 2012, 02:46:20 pm: I have to call to price a clean on a mansion of a place, i think it has about 40 odd windows and 2 big sun room extensions, id say it will take me at least 4 maybe 5 hours to do it right (basically going to clean it twice if thats the right way to go about it?)

What the best way to price these up? Should i work it out by the window or time job will take? What is the norm here with you folks if ya dont mind me asking

Its the ones with the reverse pitch(towards the house) conny roof that do my head in!
even if the customer says that its load bearing glass and the installers were practically sprinting over it- I still hate them and would never go up on one

Nice job by the way-lovely pad.How did you come about that one?would like a few of those in my portfolio ;D

Post by: benny donnelly on May 26, 2012, 11:38:20 am: cheers lads went and priced the job by the window yesterday morning and mrs was more than happy so starting cleaning there and then, it was my first big job and wasnt to bad in the end, I priced it on the higher side so was well happy with my days work ;) After finished clean was given tea and scones and even got a tip!

Wouldnt mind a few more of them cleans tbh, good earners, less hassle and loooovely tea ;D
