Title: Merlin RO
Post by: supernova77 on May 23, 2012, 02:00:57 pm
Hi All,

I need a new RO... I have the opportunity of getting my hands on a Merlin for a good price.

What are the negatives of a Merlin RO ?      I notice that many seem to stop using them after a while and go down the 4040 route?

Thanks,
Andy

Mine works fine.

Tap water at 320, merlin takes it down to about  20-23.

well ;D

I should keep it really Gav mate as my tap water is 70 and is destroying my resin in DI.

I have had a few good years out of my merlin. I have now been put on a water meter. I got a one way valve and a tap from ionics and put the waste on a loop. I get from 290 tds  between 15 and 20 tds with waste of.75 litre to 1. Litre of pure water. I don't know if this is good?
