Been practicing a lot with the wagtails and they are quite addictive, I have a couple of houses on my round that have requested traditional methods so have been using it with a pole for 2 storey work.
Went head to head yesterday with my trainee, he was on wfp at next door neighbours and we finished same time although he did have small conservatory to do.
Anyone else use these..?

Any tips to flipping them at height, I know the wetter they are the easier it is to flip but want to practise on 3 storey as have bought an 8 metre trad pole for putting virasol onto con roofs, tried on my house yesterday but found it difficult to flip at 3 storey height, can it be done or are my aspirations to be a black belt in wagtail to high..?

You don't always have to 'flip' to get the cloth over the rubber. Allow the wagtail to 'fall' to the side, at an angle, downwards so the pole is in this position ' \ ' and touch the glass with it. The cloth should be against the glass and you just reposition the wagtail where you want it.
I've never done this at that height though; so maybe it can't be done?

Cheers bud will try it, I can flip well at 2 storey height and I have been practicing for a while with the pole,I did my house yesterday and was quite pleased with the results,I started practicing when the hosepipe ban came in place and quite enjoy using it, just want to get precise with it now even tho I don't really need to..., it's an addictive personality thing lol

It's good to practise with it; I use the wagtail on high shop windows where I don't want to drag hose in front of pedestrians; also it's perfect for inside work.
Have a look on youtube, see Mr Wagga's tubes; he's very good.

Agreed Wagga , is great , cant be assed with detailing , so use my wagtail without a mop just the squeegee on fronts , its probably time i upgraded to be fair , but rely i on the two handed tecnique on stuff i can reach .
