I clean two armchairs (wing back style) every year for the same customer. Not genuine though but they do look very real! Very comfy to sit on mind.

Perhaps I'm missing something but what's the question?

The intention was to get peoples' brains ticking, asking questions, because I most certainly had a "WTF" moment when I first clapped eyes on this... took a little bit of head scratching to work out what it was :)

Striped Possom?  ;D

(I can't insert quotes, I just get an error)

Okapi? White striped hyena?? I can't work out how it repeats, if you hadn't said it was a genuine hide i'd swear it was a print, on cowhide maybe.

Jim
It's amazing what they are doing with leather finishes these days.  Have seen a 'pull up' recently that looked like a standard colour until you pulled it out and then it revealed a flower print underneath.  Very popular with the Arab countries and being sold into lots of hotels I understand from the supplier.

Plenty of careful brushing & vacuuming, and cleaned by hand using low moisture methods.  I don't get much call for it either but know how to tackle them when they do come along.

What you'll find is the kind of places you'll be asked to clean these are the big posh houses where they don't get things filthy (usually) so most stuff you clean is "clean" and done for maintenance - no heroics needed.  Easiest customers to sell protector to as well, as they appreciate the benefits of prevention rather than cure!

I've just totted up this customer has spent nearly £2k with me in the last 12 months!! :o :o
