Title: Bleedin Hose - - - - Literally!
Post by: Griffus on May 17, 2012, 05:22:36 pm
Any suggestions how to stop hose marking the ground.

I've always just replaced the hose when this starts to happen but before spending on a new length for my reel I thought I'd see if there are any miracle cures.

Thanks

Yep we have a few 20m which tend to mark .. pain in the **** ....  purchased a tough cover version from local hose supplier about 6 mths ago works great mainly use it on roofs, cost around £130 - 20m. Thks for reminding me as we need to order a few more

After a while it all turns into 'marking hose'.

Worst I had was blue non-marking hose. This stuff marked straight out of the box.

This latest one I've had a couple of years no problems. My own fault this time as on a large job a few weeks back and the hose lay in hypo mix on slabs whilst I was elsewhere  >:( Muppet, I know!
