£6-£8

do you think she was being un-realistic at £4 max she also went on to say that her parents
who have a big 5 bedroom house in ruislip only pay £6................
-
I've just quoted £7 on a similar property and got knocked back. God knows what she wanted to pay, but your better off without that sort of work. What I have noticed though, is those people that start off difficult in regards to the price are often difficult in other ways - frequency of cleans etc.

£5 up north and i would class that as good ;)

There are windys in the south charging that. They haven't put their prices up for years. For me it would be £10 every 8 weeks. I'd have said "good luck with that then."

I have one job which is £5 for one window and a door ;D ;D ;D
Plus she pays straight away online ;D ;D

Steve god know how they can not afford to put there prices up a little. My misses was the one who actually called the customer to quote her and she did say to her good luck on finding a good w/c in that area for £3-4 as we actually have a lot of bungalows in that area that have 6 windows and they are more then happy to pay the £9-10 that we charge. When my misses got off the phone she said to me"if £10 is too expensive why the bloody hell hasnt she asked her parents w/c to do it seemings they only charge her parents £6 for there massive 5 bedroom house" Im just glad the misses didnt say that to the customer lol....though i had to agree with the misses on that one...even though i didnt tell her that of course!!!!

i would have said that to them ... not the sort of custy you want . tell them for that reason your out

I stick to a £10 minimum (apart from the nice lady next door at 7.50) £3-4 is an insult to your business.
And she sounds like a customer you don't want mate.

You weren't too expensive IMO. In fact I wouldn't have taken the job at all as there will usually be hassle from the people living below regarding water on their windows.
