Title: Fitting a new tap ?

I need to tap in to my mains supply which is hard for access so i can produce water in my flat bathroom are these any good ?

I would not reccoment using this type of fitting as it looks like it just cuts a small bore hole into the pipe, I used this to be lazy on my last place and it restricts the water, your better off getting some push fits and just plumbing in a standard tap and pipe mate.

very simple to do, or cheap if you dont want to do it yourself

hi mate

I use the mains from my washing machine, just brought one of the cold water pipes and cut the end of, and use it when the washing machine is not in use, it works well, good pressure to.

Will have to do it the hard way then just a pain for getting to the pipes to cut and rejoin  :-[

what im going to do is convert my bathroom sink tap from tank fed to mains supply so i can leave it filling up containers in the bath over night  ;D ;D

Trying to get a house at the moment but it takes time  :( :(

no not on the tenth floor seventh floor done the job today got the copper fixings and pipe and done it the propper way didn't take to long either  ;D ;D

Just need to get a house asap so i can have a static tank.

Going over to static tank is best way forward.

why don't you just make a balcony and put it there job done, could be a challenge though  ;D
