Title: risk assessment for traditional

need to do a risk assessment for a shopping centre... method being squeegy (trad) no ladders as i can do all with a pole... anybody lelse have to do one ... i cant see any risk at all . apart from joe public tripping over my bucket. any advice

You need to put into writing all the noticeable risks, use the h&s risk chart to display the probability of risk and then incorporate into your method statement your control measures to minimise the risk- shout if u need anything emailing

YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU WIPE UP THE SOAP FROM THE FLOOR 100%, I WOULD SAY THATS A PRETTY BIG RISK FACTOR.

done many shops and malls,
risks are:
water drips and spills,
bucket trip hazard and so on
pole come into harms way
you blocking walk ways and shop doors

need to show aware of these to show can prevent harm or hazard from them
