what are the problems you seem to have with it, I dont have one but interested to hear, learn
-
as i said only had it for 1 day and struggle to get the blade properly to the glass its also hard to see what you are doing bcause you turn the brush around. saying all that ive probably not got it set up right . im sure itll come good

IMO this is one gardiner product that is "not very good" they just dont scrape very well!!after a few scrapes they are useless as they blunt the edge rendering it redundant.
another thing is the T pieces on their brushes are again rubbish IMO.ive replaces mine with some spare ones i bought from pure freedom a while ago.too flimsy and they are a pain to fit the pole hose on when changing brushes.the p/f ones are much stronger and a better snug fit for the pole hose.

I have one but do not find it much good. I find it more effective to use the stock of the brush as a scraper.
-
i have removed it because i've scratched a few bottom frames of windows while i was cleaning the sill. :-[ :-[

I snapped my bloody fan jet today on my gardiners brush only snagged it a little bit on a door handle, the hose caught on the door handle and pulled slightly on fan yet and snapped the end off.
So beware people with plastic fan jets they camn brake easily. >:(

I've never been able to use mine, not matter how I try, I can't get the things to stay tightly fixed to the brush! think I bought 10 as well ;( Thankfully, they were pennies

The plastic that is used on these scrapers has been carefully chosen so that it is not hard enough to cause material damage to glass surface.
As with all scrapers care needs to be taken when removing fabricating debris or other mess to ensure that hard materials (sand, grit, cement etc.) are not trapped under the scraper blade during use.
Bird's mess can also have trapped grit contained within and should have frequent rinse downs whilst scraping to prevent this contained grit from scratching.

Due to the soft plastic they are to be used as disposable items and once a few sessions of scraping have taken place it is worth replacing before they are next needed. They have been priced so that they can be replaced regularly.
As with all products these will suit some users more than others. We have clients that love them and others that cannot get them to work. They are best used with a 45° angle gooseneck.

Alex have you ever thought about the same thing but with a clamp so you can change the scraper blades would make sence long term for you and us as the end user as we could replace and you at the same time would generate a regular revenue stream (just a thought)

Im also one that doesnt particulary get on with them and i think i also scratches a glass using them, ok...its not the plastic but using the scraper did defo cause me to scratch it. Will be removing mine.
