What makes you think that the trader isn't legit? Mmmmm, is it

A the low price of £15 or

B the fact that they must have broken H&S regs going above 9 meters on a ladder?

Simon.

Two of them apparently, one footing the ladder. Must have shared the money between them I suppose  ;D

I can't see a ladder reaching the gutters of a five story building.

In days gone past I've cleaned gutters on a three story building with a hired triple ladder. It was the longest one the hire company did and it reached with a few feet to spare so five stories?

Sounds a bit suspect but I could be wrong.

i did a lot of ringing around when i renewed my insurance recently, all the firms would insure up to 10 metres on the ladders as  standard

we used to have one that went upto 66ft made of wood and it was used everyday on schools we cleaned  only ever saw 3 people and myself that could carry it fully extended without bouncing it along wall, but that was years ago and as said you should not be using ladders above 9metres under current health and safety rules.
