A George vacuum or a hoover ? No if its a gutter you want to vacuum but if you've just eaten a biscuit then yes.

It is horses for courses.  What do you want it to do for you?  You want to vac some dust out of a couple of offices then wash the odd little carpet it 's OK.  However, if you have bought it as a professional wet & dry vac and carpet cleaner forget it!  It is a domestic machine at the end of the day.  We use a couple of little dry vacs for dust removal and one of those is a Henry but only because it saves us from time to time getting the big stuff out.
