don't listen to it they dont have a clue, if they say its going to be warm it will be cold, I remember a few years back the bbq summer we was meant to have, total wash out.
just work don't worry about the weather imo

They talk utter rubbish!
Ever since the Met Office relocated to 30 miles away from me they rarely get the local weather right.
My fellow windy Jonathan, who had a number of cleans due in Exeter, checked the local forecast for Exeter which claimed a nice dry day - and he was rained off by 9am.
How could they get that wrong? All they had to do was look out of the window!
He went into the Met Office reception and complained - don't think he got anywhere but I admire his principles ;D

I cannot believe anyone is thick enough to believe a Daily Express created weather forecaster. Come to that, I cannot believe anyone is thick enough to buy the Daily Garbage Express in the first place.
No one can with any degree of certainty predict the weather a month ahead let alone several.
As for the Met Office, you have to read what they actually said along with the probability ratios as opposed to what the newspapers inferred they said.
The Met Office is frequently misquoted by the press and more often than not, selectively misquoted.
The Met Office is internationally reckonised as having the best weather forecasters in the world.

they are one of the worst out there, enough said I think.

Rough translation.......... It could be wet, or it could be dry. it will be warm on days its not cold. And if you cant see the sun...it will be cloudy.
-
i dont trust them one day in advance!

Most of my custies have told me I might as well leave their windows until next year as its forecast rain for the rest of the year!
Only thing is ill have to ask one of them whether they'll let me put a tent up in their garden as ill b getting kicked out of my flat soon due to arrears and ill have nowhere to live. >:(

Dazmond if that is true, you really need to talk with people and quick, this weather is only going to get worse as the years go on.
That would worry the hell out of me if most if my customers said that to me, I know it is unlikely to happen, but thats a very good reason why I educate every customer that we clean in the rain and in all weathers, unless i deem it unsafe.

Just looked out the window (instead of believing what I read on here) and it's stopped raining.
First thing I noticed is our windows desperately need cleaning. Must be 3 months! :o
-
The barometer on my watch is extremely good for localised forecasting - if the pressure drops suddenly or continuously then rain is 95% likely at my current location.
Unfortunately it's useless at predicting what will happen tomorrow >:(
-
ive educated all my customers the best i can and so far all have been ok with me working through the rain, not if it tipping it down tho! i dont rely on the forcast as they usualy get it wrong, summer seems to be getting later anyway, i didnt mind that heat wave in October tho :D
-
Some customers reckon they don't need their windows to be cleaned because of the rain.
Well I know this is bull because there has been bird s*** on my living room window for well over a week now and the rain has not shifted it. ;D

E&M what watch you got have you got a link?
Was looking at some of the digital watches on amazon a few month's back, a bit dear and i remember some of the reviews saying that weather forecasting by air pressure alone wasn't very accurate ::)
Weather forecasting more than 5 days in advance is total guess work according to met office.
remember hearing that newspaper sales increase by 20% when they headline with the weather i.e
B.B.Q/wet summer......snow ect ect..
