Title: Rain, how far behind?
Post by: brianbarber on May 09, 2012, 08:25:25 pm
Hi guys, with all this poor weather, was talking to a trad guy, he's 2 weeks behind,
Was just thinking, if I was that far behind I would be getting a bit stressed!
So if you get really behind, do you catch up or miss a clean with some of the overdue ones?

Mr B

I'm WFP btw

In my opinion you never catch up,i would imagine you would need to clean customers twice in half the time to get back to the start point :o
i just imagine its my holidays ;D and just plod on i think thats why i always base my business on 10 months income and not 12 due to lost time, sickness, weather etc

2-3 weeks behind but just got back from Norway on a cruise and its still bloody raining. Feeling a little stressed but I won't be able to catch up now so just try and relax about it. Emailed all the clients letting them know I may be a week late or so, but in that email re mentioned that I do gutters and powerwashing. Got two jobs from that email!

i was a week behind due to bad back/weather , luckily it was week 1 , so just started them afresh, no ones really noticed yet neither.
was fortunate really as my commercials were due that week and the dates added up to 2 cleans in a month. i hate it when that happens as 1 company always phones to check if dates are correct .
now they dont so all good on my side now lol

bad point is my family have gone away for the week on hols without me as i cant do 2 weeks in 1 go at the minute   :'(

living on takeaways and porn ( un-muted as well )   at the minute   ;D ;) ::)

If you work on a 6 weekly frequency doesn't that mean the customers you miss out will be at least 6 weeks behind then? If not more if it rains significantly before you get round to them.

 ??? ??? ???
