Steve,
What happens when you sit in the van? ;)
Cheers

I bet I could get a fabricator to make a pair of these out of Aluminium for less that £128
I had a 10ftx5ft S/S ramp made for £70

So how did you make the s/s, Aluminium non slip the wet ?
Can you drive over you ramp because there is a few salad dodgers driving those scotters around and they weight in at a fair few pounds you know!
-
its got a nice non-slip surface ;)

my ramp will support a tank ;)

But it's flat so how do you get the hoses to run underneath? Not really a hose ramp more like a bit of metal with the egdes bent over.
Also those exposed edges, thats a big risk if anyone fell and landed on them especially those nice right angle ends.
Anyway it's money where your mouth is time! :) :) :) :)
Dust off the tank and demonstrate it, if your lackng a tank, your van will do, lets us see it supported it over a vac hose without crushing the hose.

Paul read my post again ::)
It says I could have some hose ramps made cheaper than the price quoted by steve, as a comparrison I stated I had a S/S ramp made for £70, this is a ramp I use to get my pressure washer out of the van , perhaps we are confusing our interpretation of 'ramp'
You don't sell these plastic ramps by any chance do you? as you seem to be getting a little defensive ;)

Nope i don't sell plastic ramps!
Just interesed in how you would make the checker plate non slip in the wet, and of course you would be able to copy a design for less than the retail price but that can be said for a lot of things.
Personally it didn't take me that long to make the £128 to buy myself a set ;D so didn't see much point in spending time shopping around or mucking about building.
Of course if money is tight you could make a "no frills" ramp using an empty fairy liquid bottle, 48 egg boxes and some sticky-backed plastic :P
Just realised that Beverly is in the "Historic East Riding of YORKSHIRE" aaaahhhh it is all becoming clear ;)
