Just starting out my cc business does anybody have any marketing ideas??? Cheers. :)

Leaflets, Website, Parish mags, google adwords, Leaflets, Leaflets & more Leaflets and if you still have spare time more Leaflets ;D

What's your target market, what are you equipped to clean, domestic, pubs etc or 5000 sq yrd offices?

Best marketing is done by doing a good job, repeats and recs cost £0  ;)

Hi Dave i have an airflex pro i am looking to clean mainly residential with a few offices, pubs etc what you think??

get your yellow pages for a 10-20 mile radius and phone all the pubs and restaurants, offer them a free quote saying you're doing a special. Better still go and see them and do the same. You should be able to hit 30+ calls per hour... its just a numbers game. don't be put off by the no thank you, they may say yes next time you call.

It's hard starting a new business as we all know.. I was skink for the first couple of years but just kept plodding away with small ad, leaflets, visiting local businesses etc but when you do get your first rec or repeat ,well you get a kind of warm feeling always try to up sell protector or offer discount if they have another room done , don't know much about cold calling on the telephone, all I know is annoys the hell out of me and I NEVER buy anything off anyone on the phone but I'm sure other guys will say different

The thing about Cold Calling , door knocking or Telephone is its a numbers game bit like leaflets.

Not all start ups have the funds for Leaflets or Adverts which have a High average Oder Break Even these days unless you have a leaflet acheiving 1 per cent Ratio which sum claim
So Agreed it does anoy people but if you are broke somtimes you have to use these methods.

If you watch the Aprentice they often use this method.

If its good enough for Lord Sugar who am I to arque.

I appreciate what you say, but if you're looking for something and all of a sudden someone comes out of the blue with just that product for sale, i.d like to bet money you'll talk to them.
