Title: Strip and seal rates

A colleague asked me today about sq mtr rates for stripping and sealing vinyl, I am out of touch
on this subject, can you advise please.

I usually charge between £3 and £5 per sq mtr  but thats me.so really it all depends on what your happy with  ;)

£8 - £15 depending on build up.

Minimum charge £295 + vat

Just out of interest jamie how many quotes  out of ten do you bag at them rates ..Not being flippant mate just might rethink my prices  ;)

Without blowing smoke up my own arse....I would say over 90%

The main reasoning that we usually are the last people to get near it after previous attempts. Many instances referred by the manufacturer or installer

We also use a range of products not readily available that offer amazing value for the customer. In most cases offering them better than new specification.

Sorry I misread the initial post and see its in regard to vinyl flooring.
This tends to be easier than marmoleum or rubber so price would be slightly keener.
However, we never just quote for the initial works. We always quote for periodical maintenance and in some cases will do the initial visit for same price as a periodic.
Most of our work is scrub and recoat maintenance visits saving them the need to ever go down the strip off again saving money, time and environmental impact of dumping heavy metals into drains and appearance retention.
