I Recently cleaned some standard roller blinds in a bath which I have done several times before using full bath of luke warm water, 1 cup of detergent and 1 cup of bleach. However I put in a plastic type black out roller blind which was white and now its got a bluish colour on it. WHY?
I tried it again with bleach only and no joy. I tried it with plain white detergent and no joy. The first detergent was fairy powder as I had no industrial strength at hand. Please help.

Go buy some BBQ paint from homebase and paint it. Or fabric spray paint for convertible hoods.
I did this to a customers door mat that one of my guys accidental tracked phosphoric acid onto turning it purple.
The guy thought it was amazing how clean we could get his carpet.

Now I realise the shower tray in my house has changed to a bluish colour where blind was drip drying as my drying rack was full with rugs and no where no hang it. It wont come off the tray either. What is this can anyone tell me?

I would think that the blind has a black or very dark blue interlining and the colour has run from that.
A white blind would not keep the light out without it.
Unfortunately it sounds very much like a replacement is on the cards.
