It also cleans glass, and makes your hands soft

Just tried this on my house, can't see any difference to wash up liquid
-
Each to his own.
Over the (many) years I was trad, I tried just about everything - all the 'proprietry' stuff: Squeegee off, Unger Liquid/Pills etc
I still prefer Fairy - a bucket of water with Fairy in it will still foam on the glass at the end of the day just as well as it did to start. Slip is excellent, you can see where you've been and the finish is always perfect, plus if you run out it's available everywhere ;)

if your doing the insides & they smoke white vinegars the business, otherwise its not needed,
-
Use distilled white vinegar plus detergent for all my trad work i too have tried every propriety cleaner and after 24 yrs window cleaning think this is best on results and cost

what mix with fairy?

No I use Evans vanodine high class it's cheaper than fairy and does a better job designed for cleaning hard surfaces not pots and pans
