Hi
Hose arrived from Gardiners I ordered 8mm but they have sent 6mm.
I was in two minds what to order at the time but now I have the 6mm I am tempted to use it, especially as I'm sure it will be easier to ship the 6mm fittings out rather than send the reels back!
What are drawbacks / benefits of the smaller hose.
I read on here somewhere about increased pressure I am hoping to run two poles - the pump is a Brodex (re-labelled) Sureflo and the controller is a Varistream.
Thanks
Granny

Use less water. Lighter to pick up especially when full.

more strain on ya pump

More kinks.

I use gardiners 6mm and find it a good hose it does'nt kink that often . Only now and then when cold . MIKE

Go with microbore, much nicer to use.
More kinks.
Have used both and quite honestly initially my mini bore kinked more. When they are both used I can't tell the difference.
more strain on ya pump
Our pumps aren't even breaking a sweat.

Hi All
One thing I have discovered here is that whatever the topic there are some for and some against :)
Healthy debate and divided opinion is not a bad thing.
I have decided to go for the 6mm and give it a try.
Couldn't see the sense of them sending a courier to pick it up.
Just for info and I am not slagging off but
Gardiners received order Friday lunch delivered Monday.
Brodex received order April 1st (the date should have warned me!) arrived May 2nd !!!!
