Ok folks i want to avoid having to go down the route of paying a graphic designer and was wondering did any of you know of any sites that do a good template with wfp in action, benefits etc
I know of vista print and some others but was looking for a more pro look aimed at wfp use, so has anyone any templets could lend me ;D
Or any pointers were to look?
Cheers

So you want a professional flyer designed. But not by a designer?
Do you think it will still look professional?
-
A professional flyer could cost you £150-200 for a real nice looking flyer.

if you don't know where to look maybe, a flyer is not just about design, it is the marketing aspect also
a proffesional design without the marketing aspect is next to useless

I done a search and found quality leaflets but for carpet cleaning, they look good and professional looking and can be edited to be personalised
So yes I want a professionally designed leaflet without having to have to pay for expensive design work!

Try these:
http://www.readymadeflyers.co.uk/23-window-cleaning
I got some and was very pleased with them.
You choose the design you like, fill in your own details, choose how many you want and pay.
They send you a proof to say yay or nay, and when you're happy with them you get the flyers delivered about a week later.
Its more expensive than just having them printed, but you pay for the convenience of being able to choose a ready made professional design.
I chose the 02a one.
I think I've got a discount code for them somewhere if you're interested

i honestly believe that customers dont want all that shiny sh*t and to be honest if i got a flyer though the door that looked like it cost the earth i wouldnt ring for work to be done , im new ish to window cleaning but i have worked for myself for a long time and people like the simple approach and not the big flash van and million dollar look , your 1 man doing a 1to1 service keep it simple and design your own , my opinion

I agree with ian if your looking to gain new custys on good newly built housing estates or similar . You need to present a good image and a good quality flyer is a good start . Mike

Yup, whats your target customer? Mine isn't estate work, my flyers aren't run of the mill, they look good and attract the kind of customer I want.

A good quality designed flyer says alot about who you are and what you do imo....
If I got a piece of paper in post that was just printed off word advertising cleaning I dont think I would even entertain it, if I got a well designed flyer with pics showing wfp in action, describing the benefits, on good quality paper that to me would say the latter is the one who more professional, thinks more of what they do, and if they go to the extent of the making good flyer they could be worth a try.

so with your opinion why not just cough up for a designer to knock you up a flyer?
then you will get a professional job

Hence the reason I dont want to have to pay for design work, would rather spend the money on more flyers.
With all the sites around and the wealth of knowledge on here I thought someone might know or use some good sites.
Do you use them yourself?
Can we see an example if you do?

I quite like those,.. has anyone here used those designs before?

A flyer is the "face"of your business and requires
It to reflect that you are professional which requires alot
Of thought in it's presentation and it's content

Well, before I got them I tried delivering with my own, basic flyers. I thought they were ok, I got some response.
When I got the more snazzy ones I did definately get more calls, but more importantly was the change in the type of customer. Maybe it was co-incidence (and I did deliver more snazzy ones than basic ones) but the snazzys definately seemed to attract customers at the higher end of the scale. Bigger houses and ones that didnt bat an eyelid at a high price.
Personally I would never use a basic flyer now. I have come to the conclusion that people really do judge a book by its cover, and a high-quality flyer attracts a better quality of customer. I did ask a few of my new custies out of interest what made you call me, and they all said that they needed a window cleaner, and the flyer looked professional. Hearing them say that sealed the deal for me.
I'm sure some will disagree and that's fine, but in my experience you just can't beat a professional looking flyer.

Thanks for that nick , Looking to pick up more custys i have been using my business cards but without success unless i have gone back and knocked .
Which i dont want to have to do all time, if i intend on doing a large flyer drop i want to get custys attention which will encourage them to call . MIKE
