Title: tds rise at home

my tap water at home is between 30 and 40 and has been for the last couple of years all of a sudden its shot up to 250 odd there doing pipe work on the next rd to me has this affected my tds and will it ever go down again when i make a cup of tea its tastes like metal aswell ive checked with next door and its the same there my 8ltr di vessel has only lasted a week and its on 003 already  :'( :'( :'(

a couple of days i think you are right though if it doesent change back very soon ial have no choice but buy one

mines normally 30-40 but ive known it to shoot up to 100-110 before now.i think itll go back to normal when they ve finished the work!250!thats bad for DI only.

mine was the same when they re lined the water pipes used a lot of stuff to keep the water safe a week after they finnished it went back to normal i use a ro so was ok
