So far as the drought is concerned, and I quote . . . .

'its the wrong sort of rain'.

I think Carol Kirkwood said something about that on one of her weather forecasts recently.

I didn't pay much attention to what she was saying really as I was wondering if that warm front hovering near the midlands might brighten up the day.

I listen to it all the time Dean. I have my DAB radio

Been using this for about 2 years now, the boredom of window cleaning has gone since Ive been using this. I used to listen to music on my iPhone but even with 3-400 songs on it you need some variation. The Archers is tedious to say the least but there are some very good documentaries, reports and plays on it. The play on Thursday afternoon was great http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b010t7rs but Ive also had to turn it off on occassions when they have a particularly tedious thing on.

You should try it sometime, it improves your looks no end  ;D

Fair play matt,

I can't afford a DAB radio so I just settle with whistling to myself all day long.  8)

Theyre excellent. Rather battery hungry, I use rechargeable batteries, so thats not an issue now.

Hey Matt,
I recently bought the Roberts Sports dab radio.
It has an external speaker but the headphones increase the signal,
but the best thing is it has rechargable batteries in it.
£70. John Lewis.
Best bit of kit I've bought for work

Having a radio totally transforms the day for me. Its paid for itself so many times over that radio.
