Was unsure if it was a serious reply or not

yes it was, and it works. you need to pack them in tight.
-
how many are we talking, and how big holes?

enough to fill your tank! prob need 2 layers. holes 1-2cm should do. and cut a couple of arches out of the bottom of each bottle on the bottom layer so you dont get air locks when you fill the tank.
-
or buy lengths of waste pipe and created a baffel wall across the tank
-
My oldex Brodex tank was crammed with waste pipe, all cut to a equal lenght and stood up. I added some of them to the baffled tank I have now to ease the sloshing effect whilst stopped at the lights etc.
Works well, never had a problem in 7 yrs of driving around.

make sure you use diet coke bottles . they are lighter.

I've seen these on the website.. probably be cheaper just to buy a baffled tank.

yes it would be cheaper to buy a tank you need to spent £120 on these to baffle a 300l tank :o
