best to go with a higher flow rate i use 4 on my varistream with 100psi  pump, but what you need to do when rinsing is see the curtain of water flow from the top of the glass down to bottom, work very methodically over the whole window with the brush off the glass making sure you don,t miss any areas, rinsing is the key to no spotting .

First clean with wfp will take twice as long as normal .

This is what i do starting at front of house i clean al the frames first giving a brush over with water on then give frames a really good rinse making sure water runs clear from top of frame .

Then i will clean the front door giving water time to run off frames a bit .
Then going back to first window i clean the glass only . I rinse the glass twice to ensure any cleaning agents from previous trad cleaning is removed.

Then the same at back of house and on connys frames need a really good rinse if their is any small about of dirt left you will get mucky runs .

It may seem a pain to spend twice as long first time round but it will pay in the longterm .  Mike

Flow rate varies as mentioned before you need a curtain of water to flow from the top.

If you are using a vikan brush it will have 3mm jets fitted which will mean you need a higher flow rate than most.

As nearly everybody uses gardiners supetlite brushes which have 2mm jets which will give you a better flow from brush .

I have a mate who uses vikan brushes and standard 1/2 inch hose but his varistream is on a lower setting than mine .

I use 6mm microbore and use 1mm jets in brush but have a higher setting on mine . Mike
