Only got a 18 foot pole at moment if i was to get a 22 or 27 foot would i be able to reach over a 12 foot extension?
-
27 to be sure clx is a great pole for the price
-
cheers colin so you reckon that with a 27 foot pole i wouldnt have to get ladders out
-
If the pole has to be near horizontal surely big risk of snapping, how do get round that?

There's a thread running for other Irish window cleaners, Colin; so there is ;D.

Is weight the difference between clx and slx. Is it really noticeable
-
get ladders out and get onto flat roof :-\

no risk of snapping even when horizontal, so no need to get round it

i can reach and clean most windows above a flat roof with my 25FT SLX.all sorts of angles too.there is only a couple where i have to get on the roof with ladders to clean em. ;) ;D ;D ;D

as dazmond says 25 will reach, defo go with the clx or slx though becasue when poles are vertical they are proper heavy unless the gardiners light range, to make it easier when cleaning windows like this use and underhand overhand grip like the powerlifters do, will give you far more power :-) or..... i didnt say this lean the clx on the roof guttering and use the flexablity at the top to move it up and don to clean the window ;-)

I have a 22slx I can reach over flat roofs do you want to try Ian in rotherham

Its all about line of sight from the ground my friend. If you don't have it - then you need a ladder to get onto the flat roof...
And if you have it....... work out how long you need the pole to be :)

Give me a ring on 07884246013 if you dont mind and i will come and have look at your pole

Actually you don't have to get ON the flat roof, you just have to raise yourself to roof level and you can use a modern pole straight off the ladder.
Actually getting on and off a ladder when working on your own must be one of the most dangerous things you can do, not so bad getting off but if its going to push out its when you put your weight back on it to come down.
