Title: Ground floor pole
Post by: Flash.. on April 25, 2012, 05:51:42 pm
I have been using a DIY water fed pole made out of a Harris Pole for ground floor windows but its worn out, I was thinking of getting a Gardiners CLX 10  but thought I would see what everyone else uses?  I have a SLX 25 for most of my work and love it but the small handmade pole is nice for conservatorys and bungelows so think I will get another small pole.
Any Ideas/recomendations?

I use one of Gardiner CLX4 pole (Bungalow pole has I call it) thats good for ground level and its all so good for those awkward windows near a fence/edge ect, all I've done is put new hose on to make it a bit longer

New to WFP but have a CLX 18 for ground and first floor. Faultless to be honest.

I use a clx-14 for low stuff, it is light enough, and can reach the tops at times as well. I cant see the need for anything shorter, other than getting into tight areas.

Go to B&Q - loads of small poles you can convert

ive converted a small unger trad pole into a wfp but to be honest i only use it for cleaning the van with a vikan brush on the end.

i carry 2 poles in the van

22ft CLX with standard angle adaptor/flocked brush

25ft SLX with carbon gooseneck/radius sill brush(medium)

i tend to mainly use the 25ft SLX for everything including ground floor.if its a really tight space i trad the windows.its easier and quicker than going back to the van for another pole!! ;) ;D ;D

I've always recycled my old worn poles, cut them down, have a couple now for ground floor and specific jobs like shop fascias.
