Just wondering what pole size is best for general domestic work?
18, 22, 25
or do you have two poles an 18 for generial then a 25 plus for higher work?
Cheers guys.

slx 35,but with three sections removed and kept in the van then just connect up for the big jobs
-
Slx 30 with the bottom 2 sections removed. Best pole ive ever had thanks to a mate buying an elite and selling me his cast offs.
I just add the extra sections for 3 storey work.
BVC.

clx 27 ft one pole with no sections removed

I am thinking of getting one of these slx 35 or slx 30 and doing the same ..Im new to this and havent got many custys yet but I'm seeing a lot of solar panels and thinking maybe I can clean with slx. Is this possible with the 30 or 35? I got a harris for normal domestic but intand to use on 1st cleans and conny roofs. I only want to buy 1 pole and make the right choice.
Sorry to hi jack the thread but was going to post same question, didnt want to duplicate.

I use a clx 22 for most of my domestic use and have an Elite 30 if the clx can't reach certain windows but the clx 22 is mainly used and a good pole too. ;D

SLX 22 and CLX27
used to have a CLX22 but wore it out so now my conny roof pole which connects to outside taps

SLX 25 for me ;)

SLX 25 for me ;)
would an 18ft clx reach the guttering on a normal style 2 -3 bedder ???
-
slx 22 for me :) reaches nearly everything on 3 storeys and below.
2 add on sections always in van for commercials etc. ;)
Elite 30 stripped down to a couple of sections for conny roofs & first cleans .
-
25ft SLX as well.i think its better to have that extra reach rather than have to go back to the van for a longer pole or mess about taking end caps off and adding sections.its light enough to use all day every day.
i will be getting a 40ft supermax when funds allow for solar panels and hopefully i few bigger jobs that i dont currently have at the moment!! ;D ;D

SLX-22 all day for me.
At 6'3" tall, I do have an advantage, though, so can see why so many votes for SLX25.

No mention of the chubby middle man? ;D

CLX-22 does 99% of my work but I am 6' 4".
The 25 looks good but for me unnecessary and the extra 10" of closed length would be more of a hindrance than a help.
-
my ideal pole would be a slx with a reach of 25-30 ft and a closed size of 4ft or 4ft 7" that would make cleaning downstiars windows easier ;D ;D ;D

The CLX-22 reaches 26-27 feet and has a close length of 4' 9"

Yes mate, but its nice to have that extra bit of reach for houses with connys and porches etc, as you will struggle with a 18ft.
-
slx 25 for all me average houses ;)
-
slx 22 and slx 18 but thinking about a extreme 25 if only they were less money
-
30ft slx. Don't know how you lot cope with anything shorter. It gets over all the conservatories on my round and almost every extension .
-
CLX 22 with a SLX 30 in van. CLX hits over 90% of windows
-
slx 18, reaches over 90 percent of my round, why carry around extra weight that you dont need, i keep slx 30 in van at all times just in case

Elite 35 ft with 2 sections removed so really 25ft pole . Then add other sections when needed. Mike

I do that with a 22. Perhaps windows are lower in Devon :)
