have always used ro but want to know how long it would take to fill a 400lt tank using a11lt di vessel with good mains tap pressure, can anyone give me a rough time on how long

1 litre per minute through d/i vessel i think. the faster you put it through the more resin you use.

agree, put the di after the tank and pump and use a flow controller will get the most from your resin

yes, because the slower the water can travel through the di vessel at point of use the more effective it will be at cleaning the water and lasting longer.
Just thinking maybe you could put a couple of prefilters in before the tank ? I know its a must for protecting ro membranes but if its of any benefit for just di I am unsure ? ??? maybe someone else on here could advise on that.

takes me around an hour to fill my 350L TANK DI only every evening ready for the next days work.

I do mine in 25mins di only,but going to change di to other side before pumps to see how long resin lasts as per previous poister said.(350l)
