About £846.50 ;D

No, seriously Dave,
I presume you mean 3 storeys altogether.  Depends a bit on the size of the panes, and condition of woodwork...  £70 - £80

The frequency is every fortnight and the insides will be quoted seperately as i know how to charge using squeegie for insides.
Thats why i did not include the insides on here to avoid confusion so

Pricing for exterior only every 2 weeks

Thanks

Dave

3 storeys alltogether are you saying 20 pence a pane then pj or
12 pence a pane for ground floor and a fortune for third floor

No, a little extra for the pain, not the pane.  Although easier with wfp you still have to keep all that wood beading clean, and they'll be well impressed with the results of that if the wood is a sound finish.

If they are average size georgian, I would say about £2 ground floor per window, £3 next floor £4 next floor.(include a little extra for getting the big pole up there)
Can't be bothered messing with pricing panes.

How about:

£4.00 each for 2nd floor windows:       8 x £4.00 = £28.00
£3.00 each for 1st floor windows:        7 x £3.00 = £21.00
£2.00 each for ground floor windows:  7 x £2.00 = £14.00
34 Geogian Panes - 3rd Floor:                              = £10.00

Total                                                                      = £73.00

Sounds about right to me.

i do georgian, some have shallow bars, which are no problem wfp, some have deep bars, like perhapse the ones you're quoting for. I find doing a good job with these difficult, that is getting into the corners (and of course there are a lot of corners!). you have to manoever the brush into them which with any pole length is awkward. Check from the inside cos even when you think you've done more than enough rinsing the corners can still look shabby.

However, since you are doing them every two weeks you should be able to keep on top of them more easily.
But you don't want to be doing an underpaid job every 2 weeks.
maybe say that 2 weekly might be prohibitively expensive for them, and what about 3 weekly.
say £90, but offer it as 3 weekly also. which would be a 400 qiud saving for them over the year but satisfactory wage for you on the job. Or at least quote a bit high saying that once you have done the job you will review it.

Well Dave?

I would think you rich kids in the Southwest must be cleaning up on being host to 2million tourists a year!

C'mon don't be shy.  Make it £75, if they've got money to spare, then make it £80.
They're not going elsewhere for a quote, are they?
So, if you don't hear a positive response immediately and you want the job, drop it down to what you know they'll go for.
If you get it....You owe me..Naa...You'll get it.
If they accept first time, it's yours.  If they think it's too much....easy peasy..You say, Oh thats just first clean!  Don't worry, it'll be less than that regular.  Make sure you get the deal to do it once(cos no-one else will), then you'll know exactly what to charge.

Hi Morph.
Not sure where my post went but I was thinking in terms of time to do the job rather than number of panes.  Not so easy to guess unless actually seeing the job though.
