Title: Safety Hard Hat??
Post by: CraigBlues on April 18, 2012, 05:19:29 pm
I have secured a contract to do a huge new housing estate but I need to get a Safety Hard Hat ideally to wear when on the ground not when up the ladder. So a cheap one would be fine but I would ideally like to get a helmet which I can strap/clip on so I would always wear it so I can't get in trouble. Ideally HiVis Yellow colour.

Do they sell them, plus needs to be comfortable. :-)

Go to Wickes and get a yellow'un then drill holes in each side and put a bit of string through. Jobs a goodun!  ;D

Alternatively use a nail gun and staple it to your head?

Recently went for my CSCS card test so was  wired on to safety etc.... -  came out of the test centre saw boys on the black stuff laying tarmac - baking hot day all wearing Hi Viz n Hard Hats.
Out in the open air - miles from the nearest building.
What the?
Are aliens or nutcase pilots dropping things on tarmac layers these days?

If there are two of you, simply add a third hole in each hat and a piece of string to connect the two together, for a state of the art intercomm. Confrence calls get a bit complicated.
