Title: DI only not RO??? newbie question
Post by: rb4no on April 18, 2012, 04:43:52 pm
Hi everyone, hopefully you can help, thinking of buying a secondhand wfp system. I've been told that alot of you guys only use the DI and not RO especially in winter. Is this so, what are the pros and cons of doing this. What does the DI and RO actually do to the water? Can you retro fit a RO to a system?
many thanks.

what is the tds of your water ?

di and or in winter, I think someone is talking out of their backside, you either need it or don't

if your in soft water area and very low tds under 40 then depening on the amount of water you need a di (twin recommended will be fine) hard water a ro and di is needed to take the water down to 000 tds.

Hope this helps
