Most frames here in Holland are wooden and I do not treat them any differently than upvc...just be consistent.

Cheers
Dave.

Not if the frames are poor.

As above.

The more you clean them, you get to learn which windows you can fly round and which ones you need to take your time on (dribbles etc...).

I have a couple of houses with wooden frames in poor condition,  i don't touch the frames on theese, the one house has sash windows which can be a nightmare even with frames in good condition.

Bit of skill though and they come up mint every time ;)

What do you mean 'more experience'?? When did YOU start window cleaning? Personally started at 17 years of age I am now 37!
flaking paint is not a problem after the first clean!
If you are worried about water ingress why dont you just trad them?

magic moments... if you pop over to utube and search for adders window cleaning and look for a video called problem windows this is how i treat them, celan the top six inches and rince of all the windows and then go back to the first after tehy have stopped dripping and clean below where you have just cleaned, if that makes any sense to you mate :-)
