Can anyone advise me... is a 10 litre bag of resion enough for an 11 litre D I vessel, cheers Ted
-
I would imagine so,just fill it to the neck about 3 inches from the top.

It will be enough but it may only last you a few days mate! It all depends on how much water you use, what your tds reading is and if its going through an RO system before going to the di vessel? Only reason im asking is it might be better to buy the 25 litre bag

Hi ted is the resin u got with the vessel used already? can u txt me your mobile number mate coz ive just got a new phone and some numbers hav been lost, thanks a lot mate alan.

Yeah it is Alan , but people on this forum have been telling me that the unger resin is poor so I am ordering Tulsion 115 next. Am also thinking about an RO system mate to be honest , app. this can reduce the reading massively so the water going through the DI vessel will be low to start and therefore last longer.. Another thing mate , One way or another I will be moving on from backpack , poss. a big trolley but hopefully a van system , see how it goes. The backpack is a canny set up but 1st cleans eat up the water and an 18 ltr, pack doesent last long. Even when the first cleans have been done and the work speeds up ( rapidly) carrying around those 25 litre barrels takes its toll , just thought I would let you know, cheers Ted

am thinking of a trailer instead of a van till i see how it goes but i still like the idea of the backpacks for my awkward one offs etc, anyway am off to bed soon i will catch up with you during week, cheers mate.

Buy a few extra barrels and don't fill them all so full. You will have the same amount of water but it's a lot easier on the arms and back.

I'm on my second 25l bag of Unger resin, I use a single 11L DI only and got around 6500 L on my last change (My tap TDS is around 50ppm)
