Hi guys, looking at renting a bigger unit but may be put on a water meter, can you guys who are on meters please let me know what you pay and how much water you use so I can try and get a better idea as to cost.

I am with welsh water so charges may be different to where you are i have a meter for the water running to the house then i have an outside tap with a meter attached which is used for my window cleaning and because this water from this tap doesnt go down any of their drainage systems i dont pay sewage charges from this tap which is the biggest charge on any water bill, from the outside tap they charge me £1.25 a cube which is 1,000 litres. I tried saying that to anglain water and they asked where I worked, and as the water was still in the locations the sewage still was chargeable as was still using there drains ect :( may have changed now but couple of years ago this is what they said

i pay roughly an extra £250 a year.i use around 5000-6000L a month.DI ONLY.
