i have recently been having problems with the flow rate my system produces..i have replaced the flow control, and brand new batterys, i have a 8mm hose and reel, and microbore onto my pole...
even when i turn the flow right up the water comes out really fast then dies down and then takes ages to come back out!!
we have stripped it down checked for air blocks, cleaned strainer and resin.. any other dieas??????
thanks adam

Is it a 60 psi pump? Myn on me trolley is the same, got no guts a height
-
yeh mate 60 psi.. do you think this is the problem ?

Have you callibrated the pressure setting on the controller and have you bypassed the pressure switch?
-
how do i calibrate the pressure setting ??? and what do you mean bypass the switch
-
If your controller is a Varistream then the wiring should be disconnected to the pumps pressure switch.
When your water is on full flow, if you can hear the pump stopping and starting then the pressure setting needs to be increased. Your controller will have a flow setting and a pressure cut off setting.

Thank you found the problem the strainer was blocked with muck thankfully before the pump side I didn't relies you can take them apart!

The sureflo 60psi pump and 100psi pumps are actually the exact same pump,.. just a different pressure switch fitted. If you're having problems, its most likely your dead end calibration on your controller or a half flat battery.

i wondered if the pressure from the 8mm pipe to the smaller microbore could have been the problem cause i get the same problem, but find that you decrease the setting on the controller it would work ok . thats what i put it down to .
