Title: steve Gunns T/M on ebay
Post by: Mike Halliday on April 08, 2012, 04:02:59 pm
I'm surprised this has not had any bids, although someone may jump in at the last minute, but the buy it now price is a bargain for this machine and accessories

2 grand for a low hours machine like this is a bargain, a kholer water cooled engine should last 5-6k hours

It's the age old story - those who appreciate what a steal this is are all already t/m'ed - those who aren't often find it difficult to work out what potential increased income this could bring ???

Wow still no ones bid on it, it's £1200 and no reserve!

2k for a decent TM with loads of life left in it.

Some ones asking 2.5 k for a non running dog of a spitfire 4.0

I was going to keep the van to use for my window cleaning but seeing how many mpg I get from the diesel I decided to get rid of the van too as its perrol

personally i'd stick the trucky in the van and sell it as a ready made business, saves buyers faffing about. just a thought.

The reason for sale???? ???

From someone who appears well established and doing well... then asking advice on chasing up to 5k from debtors one of which who has gone into administration owing 2k...

I really do hope its not forced upon.. seems like a decent lad (although not known personally)....

Selling my prochem blazer next week in a van at this rate I'll be lucky to get £50

If I was selling a T/M I'd stick £400 on the price and offer a full day training including going out and working on actual jobs,

the biggest reason people don't buy 2nd hand truckmount is fear its got problems or they don't understand them. If a truckmount runs long enough to clean a suite then it has no problems......... i wouldn't buy a truckmount that is started for only 30seconds

This will transform someone's business, especially at this sort of money.

I wouldn't worry about fixing the last step chem injection, if it's not an easy fix just leave it not working put a splash of fib/fab in the clean tank.

To get TM'ed at this price is a great opportunity, I can only guess it's more a case of no portables c/cers are growing in business to move up.

I'm sure going back a few years this would have snapped up.

I couldn't figure out why you would downgrade from a dual operator machine with 3000psi pump and a decent 25hp kohler water cooled engine to a boxer with 1200 PS I? Pump and a 21hp air cooled b and s engine which I don't rate.

I always remember that (I think Lee Grundy) said that the Boxxer 421 was 'plumbed' better than a 494 as he was looking to buy one at the time also the foot print of the 494 was far bigger and heavier and thinking about that there must be loads of space left for say Window Cleaning equipment.

As Shaun says smaller machine hence more room in van all well and good having dual wand machine but if your a one man band not much use.
