10 inch or 14 inch any advice
10" is my favourite and in use on all my poles.
I only switch to a 14" when working over very deep ledges, but I would not want to work with it for the majority of my standard work as it can introduce too much sideways leverage.

thanks alex......i do have one question for you........why the hell do you still clean windows ;D

;D
Apart from the fact that my window cleaning business pays all of my household bills, I would find it impossible to stop due to the fact that I need the one day a week of actual window cleaning to carry out essential research, development and trialling of new and prototype products. I do only work one full day a week window cleaning though and sub out the rest.

10", it's very compact and I haven't had any ledges I can't get over.

Do you not need to be able to adjust angle of brush occasionally though as when reaching over a roof to clean window?

No....
The odd window may need a little wiggle to get done properly, but this takes much less time then messing about changing angles or swapping goosenecks. The advantages of having this fitted all of the time easily outweighs the occasional awkwardness.

Thanks, but would it be suitable for something like cleaning gutters/fascia/soffit boards?

Should be fine for this as well - On the odd occasions that I do this I simply twist the pole around 180° and it cleans the underside well. Others may prefer a completely different angle for this work and in this case maybe an adjustable neck would work better.

Thanks. With so many options available re: pole/brush/gooseneck combinations I find it hard to know what would be best.

10 inch is fine for us. ive got them on all my poles now. expensive but i find the advantage that theyll [hopefully] never need replacing a massive bonus. i hated it when those plastic ones went, and i needed to fiddle about drilling holes etc etc...

10inch is best imo ;D
