http://http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LADDER-PORTULELTE-TELESCOPIC-STEPS-2-32-MTRS-ALUMINIUM-/260995487144?pt=UK_H_G_Ladders_RL&hash=item3cc48b15a8

adjust up/down in height quite sturdy aswell,a customer gave them to me brandnew as he would never use then but id be lost without them on conny jobs, obviously they can be used as a normal ladder aswell if needed so pretty handy

Conservatory ladders are big and ungainly. Plus slow Good for the job but heavy. If you want one great but an ordinary ladder is fine. You are only going up a few feet. You can't really do them from the ground because you need to eyeball the surface

Same here. Just use the steps to clear out the conny gutters and give a deeper scrub on them fancy end pieces at the end of the beams.

You can reach a lot of conny roofs from the ground.
But for the ones with a shallow pitch or restricted access I use 8 tread Platform Steps.
The platform is quite handy because you can sit on it while scrubbing the roof.  ;D

Same as Ian H20, split ladder, add stand off.
