Professional, but why offer the customer whether they want trad or wfp. I've never understood that, they only reason you'd want to do that is if you are not confident wfp does a better job then trad. It's way to slow to be profitable (if you compare it to wfp)
Can of worms, open here --->

Sorry, I ment thats correct on the quote regards the speed of wfp. As apposed to my confidence - I'm sh*t hot. Some people just don't like wfp on their house.

There are certain customers that will never want their window cleaned wfp for various reasons , mostly not prepared to accept change or that they have has a crap wfp cleaner previous. So i can see why it is advantageous to offer trad cleaning as well , although these customers would have turned off your video and looked elsewhere way before you tell them that you can clean their windows trad , maybe you should make a mention of it right at the start.

Well said and a very good point you made. Thats why we are going to mention this with some words that "we clean by both methods.... watch both methods in this video" - or something like that on the website. :)

Good video Lee :)
I have to say the pole was a bit OTT though ;D

The ones that want trad will still be on betamax, never mind youtube.

I found you need to educate customers. I've had one customer who went mental when she found out I was switching over. That was 4 years a go, now to her it's the best thing since sliced bread. Haven't had anyone ever having a problem with wfp. They all love it, because it's a much more comprehensive clean. The only ones who don't like it are the ones who have had bad experiences with wfp.
-
Exactly.

Hi
Love the video, shows you maintain new ways of increasing your business,
And by watching this video shows me good service (hopefully) and expensive tooling used.
I know as window cleaner its easy for me to say this, but truly if i was not i would pick a team like this.
Dave (your biggest fan)

Very Professtional Lee
What video software did you use to make that as looking to do one myself!
Andy
-
Exactly.
Okay, I'm confused, why do you offer both then? ???
-
Great video there Lee,
shame about the first few moments with the hazards being created, no cones etc and cleaning the third floor windows on that house first "really?" has this guy just started window cleaning ? I don't mean in anyway for that to be rude just asking.

Cones yes i agree, now looking at this again,
But what's wrong with the guy cleaning the third floor window first?
(seems i am still learning, because this is what i would have done).
Ready to learn

drips from first floor down to ground, then up to dormers whilst first is dripping (dormers cant drip down as they are set back)
down to ground less time, really you guys did'nt know this ?

-
I think if someone goes to your website and r looking for a cleaner they'd watch full video I found it quite good
-
good video BUT you ve used far too much soap in that bucket!!really!! ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D
lots of soap left round the frames and it looks like fairy!is it?or are you trying to put them off trad altogether? ;D ;D
i would of added that trad is ground floor only if they want trad.
i also would show conny roof/fascias being cleaned.not a bad video though for an amateur lee!! ;D ;D

Hi window washer.
This is how i have cleaned to now,
Looking at the video, which i think is good, not looking at the bad points (too much soap in bucket)
Just looking presentation for customers.
Dorm Window or third floor window, Second floor window, ground floor.
First row to clean (dorm or third floor)
Second to clean (second floor or second level)
Last to clean ground floor.
Not sure if you are saying this is incorrect way, but i think you are saying this is not?
So can you tell me, the way you would do it.
Thanks Dave
-
I have always started at the top and worked down, But now after the way what washer put it is alot better ;)
1st-2nd-ground more time for the drips to stop.
Thanks Window Washers

Ok you do 1st floor first, 2nd floor second,
but then you would get the second floor dripping onto the first floor windows you have just cleaned,
am i missing something as this does not seem right?
Sorry if the answer is staring me in the face (showing i am thick)
But since starting my medication of chemotherapy cocktails, things do not sometimes seem clear enough.
But i still see this wrong way in my eyes.........help please explain
Dave

Hey Dave, I am sorry to hear you are taking chemotherapy :(
Thanks Lee,
But i becoming a expert 9 years now, taking all types of drugs, transplants.
best thing out of it is my window cleaning, started it when i was told of my illness.
Toolmaker, Lighting Designer & manufacture..... Illness came along, unemployable so become a window cleaner....
Why did i not do this trade from school as it is the best business i have done..
But no one as explained why second floor is to be cleaned before doing ground floor...... I need to Know.... Help.
Lee quoted : drips will run into gutter.
I take it this is third floor above gutter, i agree to this, but second floor as no gutter, so drips fall on to bottom window.
Thats it chemo strike until explanation

Sorry bee quoted :drips run in to gutter

What pole and brush do you and how do you control the water do you use a tap? Good video btw.
-
great professional video that says it all to a custy,( never mind fellow pros picking on certain things) it would impress any potential client . id love a video like that
-
All he is saying is that it is good to maximise dripping time after you have cleaned upstairs windows , so rather than cleaning upstairs then downstairs straight after , you would be better off cleaning upstairs , then dorma windows above them or any other windows - shed windows side windows etc then cleaning downstairs.
RE customers not liking wfp , i said i can see why it is advantageous to offer both (incidentally i dont and do 1 trad job which is a £12 shop front in 2000 jobs.) BUT there are customers that will not call you when they find out you are wfp or custys that run a mile when you tell them you will be using wfp. These customers you cannot convert like it or not , hence it being advantageous to offer both - we dont for safety reasons above all else.
