Have a look at the thread below about nice van and 250ltr system.

£1200

Surely you could gather up another 200 pounds

cant go wrong with a vauxhall combo - get a tidy W reg for 7 to 8 hundred

used one for over 2 years with over 100k on the clock - good as gold and a 250 or 400 upright fits
really well between the bulkhead and wheel arch

I don`t think you will get a caddy for 1000 good van but not cheap to buy and parts..But I would go with the other two.

Scudo is a great bargain, its just I'm around 4 weeks away from buying ,I like the scudo, kangoo and berlingo but so many on eBay are sold as spares and repairs should that ring alarm bells?

I think at 1000 you will be take a chance anyway even at 2000 but I DO THINKS BY SELLING AT SPARES OR REPAIRS TAKES THE OBLIGATION OF TELLING YOU WHAT`S WRONG IF THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG.THEY WANT TO COVER THERE OWN ASS. imo.  SORRY FOR CAPS.

The berlingos / Partners are scrap because they have used the wrong oil or not changed the cam belt. Wrong oil, or not changing it frequently, is a big problem with modern diesels?
