Title: Damn you crazy weather
Post by: Richard Shepherd on April 04, 2012, 06:31:42 pm
Set off this morning at 07:00 to clean a school.

Got stuck on M62 for 5 hours in gale force winds and blizzard conditions, overhead light blew off and snotted the front of my van.

Decided to to sack it, got off motorway and got stuck in a snow drift for 45 mins.

Site supervisor from schoolrang me at 2pm asking where I was :o Told him I would try again tomorrow :)

It's been nice out today down here in the sunny south. Have been working along the coast - warm, no wind and wall to wall sunshine.

Rather like the last 3 or 4 weeks.  ;D

We had hailstones in the morning and cold showers on and off. Some sunny spells, but cold.

Working on the north coast cornwall.

Not a bad day.

It's rained a fair bit in East Devon today but the roads are now dry and my rainwater tanks don't seemed to have topped up at all. Clearly the wrong type of rain.

A little sunshine in Dover - but no rain so far.... come to think of it no rain for about 2 weeks - must be due for a bit of a downpour!!

Oh well a spot of rain a day keeps the windys away!

Not far from you today David and I dont know about you, but the drop down to 5c from the balmy highs of last week was a bit of a stiffener :o
Hows it going for you in the lovely channel ports?
