Ask a WFP friend to help. My mate is trad and if he has something like this we just agree to turn up at the same time and I help him for about 1 minute. Better that than he injures himself or breaks a tile / slate.

if your trad theres no easy way really, for me depends on slope if its not steep il walk on it,if its to dangerous to walk on its either use a trad pole to attach your applicator and squeege to,or the put your car/van in the drive so that you ladder can butt up againt front bumper then angle ladder more to reach or place top of ladder above window and reach like that,at least with the van/car idea you can guarentee the ladder cant slip,i do a few like this there is alway a way around it

When doing the quote get your ladder out and have a play, if you don't feel comfortable walk away.

The one above the porch is easy to do off a ladder extend ladder above window should get the correct pitch and the problem window where you either walk up on the slates or get a extention pole for your trad gear as applicator and squeegee slides on to the end of the pole or if custy in ask if you can do the problem window from inside the house outwards.  ;D ;D

trad pole with a swivel mop, swivel squeegee .   gets easier with practice

Over extend the ladder on the one above the door and extendable pole for other one.

We loads like this it take some practice but the more you do it the easier it gets.

I might try an unger pole with a cloth grab (Unger Flexi clamp) and clean it with a damp cloth, then swop the cloth over for a dry one to 'polish' up.

When I was trad,on a similair house I would put ladder against the ground floor gutter then go three quarters the way up ladder and use a trad pole from there.

Steep angle ladder footed by a person that you trust. Looks like you may have to work from both sides, at least for the window over door.

Yes. Send them up the ladder  :D.

Reduce the angle by putting the ladder over the top of the window and reach down or if it's still too steep an angle, simply...... you cannot do that window and that's it.

No further discussion needed. Either you can do the job or you can't. Forget 'take someone with you', 'use a pole', 'use this' or 'do that', if you cannot do the job trad safely on your own then you cannot do the job and that's all there is to it.

Put your ladder above the windows against the wall, park you van/car against the foot of the ladder so it cannot slip and if you can tie it with some rope on the car`s bumper.Check that its stable be fore you climb on it.or  2/ Tie the ladder to the front door handle. Three use glazers suction pads and secure  to the corner a pane of glass and tie the ladder to this.so it cannot  slide as the angle will be steep. 4/ Use an extension pole on a squeegee you can use a fibre glass Harris pole from B and Q.Use ladder spikes on your ladder.I would try to use two of these methods at the same time and always check to see if its safe.

Looks to be reasonably straightforward using a trad pole while standing on the ground.
An angle adapter such as the wagtail one would give your squeegee a much better angle on the window above the garage.

get a harris pole from b+q   around £15-£20,    wash with applicator      change  add blade ,   after blading add scrim to detail the top and edge  to prevent drips, the wagtail does this job but ive never got that far ,    go onto you tube     you will be suprised as to what you find,    just type in window cleaning   and you will be there all day.,  its surprising how much time you waste once you get online..  I BETTER GO.

Hi Simon, sorry about that WFP reply but to be honest mate I thought about WFP for two years and now I have finally done it I feel those two years have been wasted , the best thing I ever done ... and I heard lots of other WFP cleaners telling me that over and over but i hesitated and I was wrong. That seems a kind of good work you got mate get stuck in.

Hi m8 I have had exactly the same dilema in the past. I would trad pole them from the ground or half way up a ladder( not the best)  and can get them to a reasonable standard  with straight pulls down of a mop and squeegee . You can clip a cloth on pole to detail you can also attach damp cloth to wipe frame / sills etc.  However this is  time consuming all well and good in the cold days but you try and do this on a hot day not so clever. I still have em on my round but only the odd window now I turn them down.  I would pass up the job and get some houses where you can access the windows properly IMO you will get annoyed doing this house as it will hold u up in future

i used to use a trad pole for windows like that.a vice versa to soap up then turn it round to blade.then take pole down and put a cloth in a fixi clamp to do the detailing.

WFP is fantastically good and fast on windows like that but a trad pole used to do the job for me without risking my neck on them roofs!! ;D ;D

Daz I find that if you do straight pulls down you need to dry the blade Between  each pull to avoid lines how did you get round this or did it nt occur for you m8?

tap the blade on a window you ve not soaped up mate or on the sill richy.it does take time to get a reasonable finish.i used a trad pole for years on dodgy windows before i went wfp.no complaints.although im a lot faster with wfp and the frames get cleaned at the same time. ;) ;D ;D ;D
